Piercings and Tattoo's.

So, i've found my latest obsession- piercing's and tattoo's!
I dont know why, but recently, i've wanted to get a few piercings- highly unlikely that i will ever get them done, as im a woos when it comes to pain hehe.
But, i've always wanted to get my tragus pierced, because it looks soooo nice, and its different to what everyone else has..also, its pretty subtle, so i should be able to get away with it at school..however, my parents aren't convinced! They really dont like piercing's, which is annoying! But, as soon as i get a job and make my own money- they have no say. ;) haha. Another piercing i want, is the usual cartilage piercing- with a small ring. I dont know why i want a ring, but it just looks super nice! So many of my friends have it done, but i still really want it! :) My cousins girlfriend Ayten (check out her blog: http://iiylrim.blogspot.com/) has recently got her neck pierced- and i love it, looks super hot! But i would never have the guts to get that done..
My other obsession is tattoo's. My brother has now got two tattoo's- and i love them both. His most recent one is a star around his elbow- looks pretty cool..but his first tattoo is my favourite! He has 'even the best fall sometimes' and 3 stars. The 3 stars represent my grandad, nan and uncle, who have sadly passed away. So, its a really sweet and special tattoo- and i'd love to get something in remembrance of them! :)

Not much else has been going on..except from school- but i wont go into that. Hope you're all having a good week- we're half way now! yeyeyeye!

Cray Cray.

Reading this article on the fashion telegraph website- 10 things men hate about our wardrobe.
Its quite amusing to read to be quite honest!
1) Dungarees- girls look at an outfit, of Alexa Chung for example and think 'they look so cute on her' however, guys think 'why is she dressed up as a giant boy'- dont lie, it made you chuckle right?
2) Shoulder pads- apparently they leave a man feeling cold. That baffles me.
3) Granny Chic- most women look and think, 'aww thats sweet' but the boys think 'all this look needs is some cats'.
4) Clogs- we think they look super hot, but a boys opinion 'oh no! clogs! so deeply unsexy..'- wierddddd.
5) Ankle socks- 'contrived and try-hard' or 'it works on rihanna- but then again, most things do' - fair play.
6) Leopard Print- 'Pat Butcher!'..need i say more?
7) Jumpsuits- i looooove them but guys think they only work if 'you're a super model'
8) Boyfriend Jeans- 'Not flattering on anyone - even Kylie. They remind me of annoying girls at Uni showing off that they've got a boyfriend!'
9) Doc Martens Boots- they appeal to us girls but the guys..'don't even go there..'
10) Hareems- 'she looked like she's crapped herself!'..okay then..

I think these comments show how boys have no idea- what so ever.
But, I cannot believe, that the style icon- Elizabeth Taylor passed away. So sad, and soooo shocking- you never imagine things like that to happen to famous people. Crazy. So wierd, how things happen that you just wouldn't expect to.
This week has been super stressful so far- and im really beginning to sway towards going to college, and doing my fashion marketing course, and just getting stuck into what i wanna do- fashion buying. But, so many things are standing in my way- most importantly, my friends. Too many decisions.

Stress Stress Stress.

Hey everyone, haven't blogged for a few weeks- school work has been manic! Last friday i had to hand in ALL of my GCSE textiles coursework in, including my garments that i had made..i have never been so stressed before- there were tears. But, thankfully its all done now! and i have been given my exam brief- design a bag from the theme of 'art deco'. Tbh, dont really know how to feel about that..it could be good..but then again, its gonna be really difficult- especially in an exam!
But, im gonna start all my research. I think im gonna create a theme board, do some predictions and existing product research- hopefully that will help me! Im soo worried now. Exams are creeping up on me..and its really worrying, to think in about 7 weeks, i will be beginning the exams, which will possibly map out my future..oh god.

Because i've been so stressed out recently, my mum has paid for a few treats for me..
5th March, i was able to see the X Factor Tour- not gonna lie- was AMAZING! and One Direction looked hot- as usual! And i can honestly admitt- Cher was surprisingly good..i take back every harsh comment i've said.

I wore my denim high-waisted vintage looking shorts- love them! they're from newlook and they were £20! best buy! I wore it with a blue sheer shirt..casual, but dressy at the same time!
Honestly had the time of my life at the X Factor Tour- Im easily pleased. ;)

Also, 17th March i got to see..JUSTIN BIEBER! It was the most incredible night- ever! The atmosphere was crazy, and as it was his last night, he got The Wanted to be his support act, as well as Willow Smith. AMAZING. Also, Jaden Smith was there, and sang 'never say never' with Biebs. Honestly, i was speechless when he came on stage- how can one boy looks so gorgeous? and have so much talent..its beyond me!

Well, thats my hyper and excited moment over..and should probably get back to revising for my history mock, which is tomorrow morning- leaving it til the last minute, its what i do best. haha.

Latest Craze.

So, i have been browsing the internet as i usually do, trading in hours of sleep, to sit on the laptop admiring all the clothes that i would really love in my wardrobe..is that normal? haha.
The one site, that i've really taken a liking to is Yayer. They have some really unique garments, but im totally in love with their stuff! What i love best about them, is they ask their own customers on what they want seen on the website, whether its garments or accessories- love that! Not many business' are willing to do that yano?

My favourite pieces on the site are these:

I LOVE this ditsy dress. Im a simple kinda girl, just like wearing things that i'd be comfortable in, and im actually in love with this dress, so much so, i've just asked my mum for it! So Yayer, be expecting an order! ;)
I know the satchel doesn't come with it, but i really love the way these two have been teamed together in the picture modelling this gorgeous dress..i really want one! Yet another investment..

I have been looking for a sheer shirt like this for aaaaaaaaaages! I have a really peculiar body shape..im quite narrow on the top, but i have wide hips, so some of them really dont flatter me. But, there is just something about this! Ahhhhh, im gonna be in some major debt with my mother!
As spring/summer is approaching, im trying to ditch my morbid colours, and begin to let in a little more colour into my wardrobe, dont you think this would be the perfect way to start it?

I am yet to purchase anything from Yayer, but that doesn't stop me from loving the way the site is run..it doesn't only have beautiful vintage clothing, but also modern garment- best of both worlds..my idea of heaven! But, if you're interested in any of the garments, check out their site Yayer  and feast your eyes on their gorgeous garments!
Also, check them out on twitter @yayershop- they're super helpful and friendly, so feel free to ask them questions about stock, what you're interested in seeing on the site..or anything! But be nice! They also have a facebook page, so visit them there: http://on.fb.me/gtVI6N ,and tell all your friends, im definitely going to be mentioning this to my friends!

Week Off.

So, this half term, i haven't got a lot planned..im more of a spontaneous planner..plan it on the day, and they usually turns out to be a pretty good day.

So, saturday- i was just sooo tired from school, that i slept for most of it..and then sunday, i spent the day with one of my best friends, just chilling- we watched the grammy's. Im not gonna lie..Justin Bieber looked hot haha. Speaking of Justin Bieber, im going to see him in march..soooooo excited- i can tell its gonna be a sick concert <3. On monday, travelled into town, and just hang out with my best friend..and then ended up going to a 'gig'. It was probably the worst evening of my life. It was ridiculously cold- i was wearing a skirt and top. My friend was throwing up everywhere..naaaaaat cool. haha. Oh well! Today, im not really planning on doing anything, when i should really be doing my english essays, and write my history debate. Bore me later school work.
But today, will mainly consist of sitting on the sofa with my doggies..and watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Haha.

Thanks xo

LML.

Had the best night out last night..
Example came to ashford, and it was soooooo sick..had sooo much fun with my friends, and it was really surreal seeing him haha.
Although i enjoyed myself, i did leave it with a few bruises- results of the mosh pits; i bloody love them! they're soo much fun aha.

What i was meant to post about, was the different outfits that were worn at the event..i wont lie, some were out there..but most were really casual- which is always good..cant be pushing people in something you're not comfortable in right? ;) aha.
It was mainly casual tee's worn with shorts and skirts..which is what i like to wear most.
I loooooooove the casual tee's in urban outfitters, and here are a few that im really drawn to, and may have to persuade my mum to buy haha..

I dont know why, but im really into the casual look- i think its because its just soo effortless, and im really not a person to make an effort haha. Share your thoughts!
Thanks xo

Opinions Shminions.

So, yesterday i got told i looked like a lesbian with my haircut..even more of a reason to grow my hair.
I honestly dont care that i look like a 'lesbian' because..honestly, i dont think i do- i'd say i look more boyish..but its growing! which is always gooooood.

Last weekend i dyed my hair an auburn kinda colour, and i was soooo scared, because it looked orange- literally. But, i am now in love with the colour..its different to what anyone in my year has at school, so its all gravy!

I dont really have much to say at the moment, except from i just applied for my school sixthform, but i dont have a lot to say to big myself up haha..oh well. I am so scared about what im going to do with my future, its stuuuuupid. I feel too young to be dealing with anything right now..too young for a job, exams, boyfriends, you name it.. haha. I'm joking..i do need a job, to buy new clothes!
Speaking of new clothes, my mum bought me a loooovely black jumper for me- as i got declined for a job- yano what they say, every cloud has a silver lining ;)

Well, thats all from me..i will post about something good soon..when the weather cheers up a bit, might do something a bit more funner. hehe.
Thanks xo

Always Wanting..

OMGZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. i wish i lived somewhere warm right now. I went out with my best friends today- and it was flipping freeezing, and me being me, i wore a skirt, a vest top and my denim jacket..so i was ridiculously cold- i couldn't move my hands. Its times like these that i lived in LA.
Im literally obsessed with the idea of living in America- might have something to do with watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians alllll the time..and The Spin Crowd- guilty pleasure. I just want that lifestyle, of being able to wear pretty playsuits and skirts all the time.. and not have to wear ugly fleeces, because you're that cold, that you just dont care. haha. Oh, im sucha moaner. haha.

Seeing as i have mentioned the Kardashians, i may aswell include a few pictures of them..cos i wont lie..i adore them- because they're so different, and i think they're good role models in the sense they aren't stick thin..and they are actually real people, and aren't shown to be fake and shizzzz..haha getting deep there. lol.

All three pictures are them at the People's Choice Award- which they won an award!
This was a really pointless post tbh..but oh well!
Thanks xo

Time Flies.

Just a quick post to update you on things at the moment.
I haven't blogged for a couple of days, and i will probably blog less over the next 4-5 months as i have tons of revision to be doing for my GCSE's which start in May. :| I am dreading it..if only it was coursework based all the time!
Also, i went to look at my school sixthform, and definitely fell in love with the idea of staying on at my school, and taking my favourite 4 subjects. The subjects im swaying towards are English Literature, Sociology, Textiles, and possibly Business Studies. BUT. I reaaaaaaally want to go to college and do the fashion marketing course.. decisions decisions! I feel like im waaaay too young to be making these decisions haha.

But, what i wanted to blog about was the amazing selection of heels in Topshop at the moment!
We've just been given the date for our prom, so everyones freaking out about finding the perfect dress etc, but i dont mind..good excuse to get a pair of killer heels! ;) aha.

These are my three faaaaave pair. Soz bout the quality- but to put it bluntly, i dont really care..haha.
I looove these shoes, but my favourite is definitely the black wedged heeled pair- mainly because i can successfully walk in them, without making myself look like a total bimbo, like all the other girls will at the prom..im sooo excited! :D haha.
All of the shoes are from Topshop- click them, and they will link you to the site :)
Thanks xo

Hair.

In october, i cut my hair..i went from rather long hair, to the short on one side kinda style..
Now, im kinda regretting it. :| i looooove having short hair, because its different to what any other girl my age has, but at the same time, its sooo high maintenance for me- i have to straighten it everyday; because i have naturally wavy hair, and now the layers are pretty short, they just flick- and i look like a boy. EW.

So, i think i am going to start growing my hair out, which is gonna be awkward, considering i have one side shorter then the other. hahaha. But, its totally worth it! I just cant wait to be able to tie my hair up again- i miss the laziness.
But, i must admitt, im liking the long bob, shoulder length style- and i found pictures of Miley Cyrus, would you believe- i love her hair shorter. Dont get me wrong, i really like her hair with the long extensions, but it looks so much more grown up- personal opinion.

I stumbled across this picture, when i was googling pictures of the long bob look (sad i know).
I am realllly liking this style on her, and i want my hair to be this length- so bad!! It will have soo much more versatility- straight, wavy, clip parts back, or tie it up.. rather then just straigh, with the style i have now.

I am sucha moaner btw, soooo be prepared. haha.
Im gonna stop myself now, before i start crying over my hair- its happened before haha.
Thanks xo

Vintage.

A few weeks ago, i bought this gorgeous pink vintage knitted jumper- im in love with it.
Also, it was only £8. Gotta love canterbury? ;)
Im really liking vintage items at the moment, but i struggle to find stuff that isnt too garish for me, and i can wear for both casual and dressy. That's why my knitted jumper is the best purchase recently, because i can either wear it super casual with a long time and leggings..or dress it up a little bit more with a skirt, and subtle jewellery.

My favourite vintage website at the moment is: www.yayer.co.uk - it has lots of variety, and really accessible on the internet. So, when i actually get some money together, im definately going to be spending it on their hehe.
Is there any sites that you would recommend for vintage clothing? Comment and let me know! :)
Thanks xo

Random Post.

Hello everyone, just a post to talk about my day really.
School was sucha drag today, and i honestly cannot wait to go to college..to study what i want..not science- im not too fond about chemical bonds if im perfectly honest haha. Had a phone call from my cousin today- he's leaving for the army this sunday- waaaaaaay too early. I'm gonna miss him so much, its ridiculous. Hopefully, he wont have to go out to the war, and he can stay safe with us here. hehe. But whatever happens- he's still our hero..cheesy. ahaa.
I tried to push myself to going on the treadmill today, it just wasn't happening, i have no will-power what so ever. I told myself i need to shift a few pounds for summer, to get some luuuuuush new clothes hehe. But, i am kind of eating healthy- completely cut out crisps- which are my main downfall..i just love them haha.

I've just been looking at my course, for college, and i've got to bring in a portfolio of some art work, and textiles work, so any suggestions would be great, as my mum bought me a sewing machine! woooop!
Speaking of my sewing machine, i've been sitting at it, just doing random little things, and im actually pretty chuffed with one of my creations- i did applique woo! super happy with it- easily pleased. But, the thing that bugs me most, is that i cant do any  of my GCSE textiles practical work, as its now under timed conditions- which makes it so much harder, as i generally have no motivation in class- i sound like a great student..i know ;)
Again, bit of a long post, but i just wanted a bit of a rant and just to tell you what was going on today..sooo, thats all!
But any suggestions as to what i should include in my portfolio would be great! Also, and plans for summer-let me know! :)
Thanks xo

First Post!

Hiya! :)
This is my first post for the blog, and i've kinda created the blog for fun, and to voice my opinion on current trends, but also to find other blogs to inspire me etc. I may later be posting pictures of my outfits, but right now, i honestly dont have the time, and my camera is pretty naff, so yano. But, i hope in the future, when i actually get a job, to get a good camera, and start posting outfits-which will be fun!

I want to start off by saying, that im just a regular student, who just dreams and wants to do other things. Im hoping to get selected for a fashion marketing course at Canterbury College which im really hyped about, so fingers crossed i get in. But, this year at school is super important, as its GCSE year, and all my coursework is piling up, like you wouldn't believe. Although its my favourite subject- Textiles is the worst for coursework..the deadlines are soooooo annoying, and its really time consuming, but at the end of the day, i love textiles and i love the class that i learn with!

This blog is gonna seem really long and boring, but they wont always be like this- i promise! haha. It's my first post, so just putting some info out there! :) But, i really do want people to follow my blog, and keep updated with current trends, highstreet stores etc, through my blog! Any suggestions/constructive criticism is welcome.
Thankyou! x
